Pueblo Pottery, Taos, New Mexico
Ronnie Rabedeau

This piece of pottery stands as a simple testament to the enduring talents of the Pueblo Indians of northern New Mexico.

Mel Rabedeau:

After retiring from his first career as an optical engineer employed by Eastman Kodak Company and later by IBM, Mel Rabedeau has turned his life–long interest in photography into a second career. He and his wife, Veronica, formed Sunrise Photography to produce photographs for home and business decor. While employed by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, Mel received extensive training in photographic theory and photographic instrumentation. He holds a master of science degree in optics from the University of Rochester’s Institute of Optics. More recently, Mel has taken a number of courses and workshops in photographic composition, printing, and darkroom techniques. He has spent a considerable amount of time developing the skills needed for high quality printing, matting and framing of photographs. He is a member of the Photographic Society of America .

Ronnie Rabedeau:

Over the years Veronica (Ronnie) Rabedeau has blended raising her family of three with community volunteerism and occasional stints as an amateur photographer.

Now in retirement years she is giving serious attention to photography. Ronnie has studied under numerous area specialists over the years, including Robert Hitchman, Dick Garrod, Marion Patterson, Brenda Tharge, and Fran Cox. She also is a member of the Photographic Society of America.

“Hailes Abbey”
Mel Rabedeau

…A bucolic scene In England framed by the interesting old wall and archway of a 14th century abbey.

Ronnie and Mel enjoy searching out scenes that move the spirit…perhaps capturing the magic moment of superb lighting on a single flower or a clump of beach grass, or the essence of nature’s eloquent strength in a broad mountain landscape.

All of Ronnie and Mel’s photographs that are on exhibit in the gallery are available in other sizes; and custom mats and frames can be provided to harmonize with the customer's decor. All materials used in the mounting and matting of the photographs are acid free for long life.

“Heceta Head Light Station in Drifting Summer Fog”
Ronnie Rabedeau

The photographer positioned herself on the beach well below the Headland in order to capture the building (now a “B and B”) amid a background of drifting fog.

All Rabedeau images are available double–matted, framed or unframed, in image sizes ranging from 8x10 to 20x24, larger by special order.

Materials used are high quality and acid–free; black and white images are selenium–toned for archival longevity. We ship worldwide.
